MAN recognises UK CV dealer success at conference 03 February 2016

AN Richards of Llangollen, Imperial Commercials of Peterborough and HRVS Group Ripley won the small, medium and large (respectively) dealer of the year 2015 awards at the MAN Truck and Bus annual dealer event, at Wembley Stadium.

Runners up were Fishlake Commercial Motors, Doncaster (small), HRVS Group Sheffield (medium) and MTB Northampton (large).

Each receives an undisclosed lump sum to invest in their businesses.

“Our annual dealer awards are now an established highlight of MAN Truck & Bus UK’s events calendar,” states MAN’s network director Rob Zubovic.

“It’s about our dealers proving their continuous commitment to the operators of MAN vehicles, supporting them 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” he continues.

“The success of these six dealers is a testament to the dynamic and innovative performance of their management and the teams they have around them.”

“We are over the moon with the wins – I have had to reorganise the trophy cabinet,” comments Keith Sims, group operations director for HRVS (pictured centre), which won the large category for its Ripley branch, and ws named runner-up in the medium category for Sheffield.

“But seriously, the prize money will be invested into the business. We are looking to buy a new engine stand and technology for the maintenance of the Euro 6 vehicles,” he continues.

“We also won the first award to be made for marketing for our team at Sleaford. This a great start to the year and we will look to build on this throughout 2016.”
