MAN UK 100,000th vehicle goes to aggregates operator 12 December 2013

Wiltshire-based aggregates operator Earthline has taken delivery of a MAN TGS 35.400 8x4 tipper – MAN's 100,000th commercial vehicle in the UK.

Chassis number 100,000 joins seven other MAN vehicles that Earthline has acquired this year.

Delivered through MAN Financial Services on a four-year operating lease, with two years' full R&M, the vehicle was specified with TipMatic automated transmission, Thompson bodywork and Edbro tipping gear.

"We are delighted to have joined MAN on its journey to such a significant, historical milestone," says Malachi Chambers, Earthline's general manager.

"We've used MANs in our fleet since 2010 and one thing's for sure, they're built to last – they're superb for our type of work.

"Our drivers love the MAN TipMatic auto box and, from an operational perspective, aftersales support is as good as any I've experienced in the industry."
