MAN unveils three body options for new TGE at IAA13 September 2016

MAN will be presenting three body solutions for its new TGE light commercial vehicle at this month’s IAA Show (Hanover; 22-29 September), and will present its ‘Vans to Go’ offer.

The three body solutions on show will be a three-way tipper from Scattolini, a closed delivery van from Swabian and a 6m-long utility truck designed with Bott.

The tipper has a loading bed and sub-structure made of high strength steel. The loading bed can be tipped backwards or to the side by manually adjusting the pivot.

The closed delivery van has a short wheelbase and medium height roof, and features FlexRack and ProSafe load securing systems. The vehicle has a 11.3 cubic metre cargo capacity.

The third body type on show will be a specially designed service vehicle, in a joint project with Bott. Inside, the vehicle has a mini workshop, with drawer units, under-floor folding compartments, racks and work surfaces. A fold-up access ramp has a load capacity of 450kg, and the workbench top features a rotating vice.

The Vans to Go sales offer will also be unveiled, which sees bespoke industry vehicles kitted out ex-works, reducing the lead time on orders to 48 hours.
