The site has its own railway station, providing access to Leeds in six minutes, as well as cycle and car hire, and electric vehicle charging.
The vans business will share the new facility with Mercedes-Benz Finance.
The brand’s used vehicle processing operation is now being delivered in Doncaster, by BCA.
Steve Bridge, managing director of Mercedes-Benz Vans UK, says: “We see the automotive sector changing more in the next five years than it has in the last 50. Bridge adds that the move has “increased levels of flexibility, which we need to achieve our volume growth aspirations. It allows us to deliver improved and more cost-effective Smart repair solutions, while BCA also enables us to have an independent return inspection – something that keeps us fair and transparent to our customers.”
