Microlise telematics now on half of all HGVs sold 03 September 2014

Telematics provider Microlise, which embeds its systems in several of the major OEMs' new trucks – including DAF and MAN UK – has seen a sixth successive year of revenue increase.

Managing director Nadeem Raza points to rapid uptake of Microlise's fleet performance, journey management and proof of delivery software across manufacturers, logistics operators and vehicle lease providers.

In fact, he claims that around half of all HGVs sold in the UK this year will come pre-installed with Microlise Telematics, adding that Microlise now supports more than 140,000 connections to vehicles in the UK and internationally.

"Microlise is a transport technology success story on an increasingly impressive and expanding international level," declares Raza.

"Our people are at the very heart of these achievements and their commitment and passion around what they do continues to drive us forward."

Microlise claims that its systems help transport operators across all sectors reduce fuel usage by up to 15%, reduce accident rates and insurance premiums, whle also improving customer service, reducing fleet size and ensuring driver safety.
