Middlebrook Transport achieves FORS Gold with r2c Online 08 February 2018

Steel haulage firm Middlebrook Transport says it is saving 60 hours a month with r2c Online’s fleet and workshop management software – and the system has underpinned the operator’s latest achievement of FORS Gold status.

When Middlebrook decided to move away from paper-based maintenance management for its 180-strong fleet, it evaluated six providers: “r2c was by far the best,” says Rick Bromley, Middlebrook’s transport manager.

“The platform was the most intuitive and user friendly – it was clear from the outset that r2c are specialists in the sector and that expertise shines through in the product and support.”

With the 60-hour time saving on compliance alone, the team is able to focus on “the important stuff”, he adds.

But the benefits go beyond admin time savings, Bromley says: “Everything is quicker and easier, we can see when services are due, we have live job status updates from the workshop floor helping to minimise downtime, and our compliance visibility has improved, helping us receive FORS recognition.”

Improved maintenance and asset control has saved Middlebrook more than £3,000 a year, he says, adding: “We can’t recommend r2c enough.”
