MiX Telematics ends 2016 with 600,000 users14 February 2017

Fleet management solution provider MiX Telematics has announced that it has more than 600,000 active subscribers as of the end of 2016.

“As a SaaS [software as a service] business, growing our subscriber base and subscription revenue are key metrics for us,” says Stefan Joselowitz, group chief executive.

“Passing the 600,000 subscriber mark is a great achievement, and demonstrates that our extensive product portfolio and global footprint continues to make MiX the telematics brand of choice for fleet operators and vehicle owners across the world.”

The company says strong results for Q4 2016 were driven by general strength across the portfolio, including an move towards bundled deals, which also increases the long-term value per subscriber.

Joselowitz adds: “We believe that MiX is well positioned to maintain momentum for the remainder of the year – and beyond.”
