Mobile Mini notches up another gold FORS mark 10 November 2015

Portable accommodation and storage rental specialist Mobile Mini has received the gold FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) award for its fleet of HGV delivery vehicles.

It’s the third time running that Mobile Mini has achieved FORS Gold –a hat-trick for the company, but also a first in its industry.

Mobile Mini recently acquired 15 new Scania delivery trucks, brining the fleet up to 41, all mounted with loader cranes.

“Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and another FORS Gold Award demonstrates how seriously we take our responsibilities as a fleet operator,” comments Keith Silvester (pictured), lifting operations manager for Mobile Mini UK.

Since taking part in the FORS scheme, Mobile Mini has seen a substantial reduction in the company’s motor insurance premiums, he adds, making the point that not only does FORS make transport operations safer, it also provides a good return on investment.

The accreditation scheme, operated by Transport for London, aims to drive up standards among commercial vehicle operators throughout the UK.
