New orders for Scania coaches10 May 2016

Cheadle-based operator Bullocks Coaches has taken delivery of two K 360 IB Scania Irizar i6 coaches, following positive performance from an identical vehicle ordered last year.

The 53-seater vehicles (as pictured) have leather headrests and three-point seatbelts, centre washroom, Bosch professional line AV system, two LCD monitors, alloy wheels, USB sockets for the driver and a kerb lighting system.

Meanwhile, Kent-based Bayliss Executive Travel has taken delivery of its first new Scania coach, one of three to be delivered this year.

The 12.1m-long vehicle has Scania Touring HD bodywork fitted to Scania’s Euro 6 K 360 IB4x2 chassis with fully automated Opticruise gear selection system, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Advanced Emergency Braking.

The body is kitted out to executive spec, including Bosch AV equipment, climate control, washroom, servery, fridge, reversing camera and CCTV at centre door, 49 Kiel passenger seats with magazine nets and seat-back tables, auxiliary heater and Xenon headlights.

The vehicle is supplied with an R&M contract from Scania Tilmanstone.
