Nissan talks LCVs with industry professionals24 September 2012

As part of a bid to further develop its business within the commercial vehicle sector, Nissan recently held a fleet LCV seminar with experts from the industry.

The session, which involved a panel of specialists from used value guides, leasing companies, auctions and industry associations was billed as an opportunity to share views on all elements of Nissan's services to the fleet sector.

"It's good to talk and listen as we build our LCV brand in the fleet arena," explains Matt Dale, Nissan national LCV sales manager. "We have already learnt a great deal from the seminar's expert panel and the day-long session was invaluable."

Among topics covered were: vehicle specifications; vehicle conversions; dealer standards; and what van operators want from the Nissan network.

"We have had some great ideas and suggestions and we will be reviewing them very carefully as we grow and further improve and develop our LCV fleet proposition," comments Dale.

"Nissan is a long term player in the UK LCV market and we want to build a strong infrastructure around network, sales and service, as well as further improve residual values," he adds.
