North East home for TIP’s eighth ATF facility 13 May 2013

Following a major investment to improve and upgrade the facilities at its North East depot in Gateshead, TIP Trailer Services has opened its eighth ATF (Authorised Testing Facility).

TIP says it's part of the organisation's expanding FleetCare maintenance programme, with the re-equipped depot offering a range of testing facilities, including for HGVs (from 7.5t upwards), PSVs and ADR trucks.

Originally planned to be open for testing two days per week, such has been the success of the Gateshead facility that TIP has now extended the official opening hours to three days a week.

The new TIP ATF premises in Gateshead are located at: Station Approach, off Eastern Ave, Tean Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead NE11 0UX.
