Operator sold on smooth ride of Daily midicoaches14 August 2018

London-based Westbus has taken delivery of two IVECO Daily Hi-Matic Euro 6 luxury midicoaches, after a demonstrator proved the vehicle’s ride quality.

“We are new to this product and the demonstrator proved to us this is the best vehicle on the market to replace our older midicoaches. What really stood out for us was the smoothness of the drive and how quiet it was inside,” says Tim Miles, general manager of Westbus.

The vehicles have been delivered through Irish-based Brian Noone, which developed the Turas range of bodies and which is also a founder member of IVECO’s Busmaster programme of approved bodybuilders.

The Daily 70C18s are fitted with Turas 600s bodies, with 25 leather reclining seats. Other onboard features include air conditioning, individual LED reading lights, USB charging points, full draw curtains, reversing camera and a PA system.

Both vehicles are powered by IVECO’s 3.0-litre F1C diesel engine and feature the Hi-Matic automatic transmission, which is also found in premium cars manufactured by sister companies Jeep and Maserati.
