Panther pounces on £3 million worth of new trucks 19 January 2016

Panther Warehousing has taken delivery of 40-plus HGVs – a mix of 26 7.5 tonners, four 18 tonners and 10 tractor units – all MAN – as well as 75 SDC trailers.

It’s part of a £3 million investment in new fleet to cater for increased business, and also includes 50 new Luton and panel vans suited to two-man service.

The investment comes on the back of Panther’s relocation to a new cross dock facility in Northampton, which is more than three times the size of its previous home at Crick.

“As the majority of our customers require the delivery of heavy and often fragile goods, this represents a significant investment which will improve our service to them and better equip our two-man delivery teams,” states managing director Colin McCarthy.
