The truck joined the firm's 20-strong mixed Renault, DAF, Scania and Volvo fleet last Christmas, and the operator is so pleased that it has already ordered another.
Supplied by local dealer Renault Trucks Essex, the 32-tonne Range C430 8x4 is in roll on/off configuration and was specified as standard with a hooklift.
"Renault Trucks put the most attractive deal on the table and I knew we had peace of mind as we've built up a great relationship with Renault Trucks Essex with our Renault Premiums," comments resources manager Tony Anderson.
"It's early days, and too soon to give figures, but the fuel economy is certainly looking promising and early indications are for better mpg than the other vehicles," he continues.
"Driver acceptance is very important to the smooth running of our business and I'm pleased to say that our driver loves his new Range C.
