"The exhibition has been a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase a selection of our truck and van tyres to the market, and demonstrate each of the individual ranges' key strengths," comments Chris Evans, director of truck at Pirelli UK.
Ranges on show included the FR:01 II and TR:01 II, the ST:01 Base, designed for trailers and semi-trailers, and Europe's first double 'A' rated trailer tyre, the ST:01 Neverending. Completing the picture was the newly released ST:01 M&S, a mud and snow variant.
Pirelli also demonstrated at its fleet management system, which gives logistic managers on-line and real-time cost control over tyre assets.
Pirelli also displayed the Carrier tyre for vans – as revealed last summer following three million kilometres of testing with some of Europe's leading fleets.
"We were overwhelmed with the response we received from customers old and hopefully new," comments Neil Booker, marketing manager at Pirelli UK.
"All at the Pirelli Truck team thank everybody who paid us a visit, and expressed an interest in our products and offer."
