Private equity fund acquires O&H Vehicle Conversions06 July 2016

Special converter O&H Vehicle Conversions has been bought out by Endless, a private equity fund, in a deal designed to refinance the group and provide additional working capital.

Goole-based O&H specialises in ambulances, wheelchair access vehicles and welfare vehicles. It uses strong aerospace-type materials to boost vehicle durability and lower weight, so reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

The transaction was led by Andrew Smith, who heads up the Leeds office of Endless and who now sits on the O&H board.

O&H’s Peter Van Smirren says: “We are very much looking forward to working with the Endless team... We are aligned in our objective to allow O&H to fulfil its potential and solidify its position as a leading provider of vehicle conversions.”

Smith adds: “We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to support O&H and the management team’s growth ambitions. O&H has a strong reputation in the vehicle conversion industry and we are excited to be a part of the future for this well-respected business.”
