Professor Richard Wilding is new chairman of CILT05 October 2015

Professor Richard Wilding OBE FCILT is the new chairman of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

A member of the CILT since 1992 and a board member since 2011, Wilding also heads up supply chain strategy at Cranfield’s Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Wilding says he is committed to building on the “outstanding work” of former CILT chairman Neil Ashworth.

“His dedication, drive and enthusiasm for the industry and the Institute is second to none, and his leadership has ensured the creation and development of an Institute we are all proud to be a part of,” he adds.

Wilding joined Cranfield in 1998, where he works with global organisations on logistics and supply chain projects across all sectors. He received his OBE in 2013 for services to business.
