Recovery World picks up on Isuzu’s ‘proven’ vehicle performance21 May 2018

Recovery truck bodybuilder Recovery World has ordered 13 Isuzu Forward 7.5-tonne rigids, adding to the 250-plus Isuzu vehicles it has ordered since it began working with Isuzu in 2001.

The vehicles have been used for its own body manufacturing business and within its recovery vehicle hire operation. The latest additions are for both divisions and are all N75.190 Euro VI 7.5-tonne rigids, with a mix of day and crew cab models, as well as a combination of manual and Easyshift automatic transmissions.

“So many of our customers are repeat customers and they really value and understand the benefits of running Isuzu recovery vehicles, which have been proven over time,” says Mac Engledew, director of the Hertfordshire-based operator.

“We are also now seeing a definite switch to more operators requesting the Isuzu Easyshift automatic transmission as standard.”

He adds: “With over 18 years’ experience of the Isuzu Truck brand, we recognise that it is an extremely good product with industry-leading payload and, most importantly, consistent and effective back-up.

“We believe that this customer support is as good as or better than any other commercial vehicle manufacturer in the business.”
