Reed Boardall works with Volvo and Crossroads for new ATF 17 July 2015

Boroughbridge Motors, part of temperature controlled storage and distribution business Reed Boardall, has worked with local Volvo dealership Crossroads Truck and Bus to create an on-site ATF (Authorised Testing Facility).

"With almost 200 vehicles in our fleet, it made sense to work with Volvo to invest in a dedicated ATF lane located here at our Boroughbridge site, following the closure of the Wetherby testing facility," explains Howard Gill, managing director of Reed Boardall Transport.

"We have a vehicle standards assessor on site to carry out annual checks to ensure that our tractors and refrigerated semi-trailers are roadworthy and meet all of the safety and environmental standards," he continues.

"Working with Crossroads, we're finding that this new system is providing a number of benefits in terms of convenience, speed and efficiency."
