Renault Master goes low enough for Micheldever 04 February 2010

The impressive low unladen weight of the Renault Master was reason enough for Micheldever Tyre and Auto Services to add 15 of the vehicles to its 200-strong fleet.

The vans, the first Renaults on the trye wholesalers' mixed fleet, will be used to deliver to the company's 12 depots and 4,500 retailers around the UK.

Malcom Turnbull, Micheldever's fleet manager, elaborates on the reasons behind the deal: "The Master van offers a greater payload than its competitors, which means that our delivery operation is more cost effective, with lower running costs."
