Schmitz and TISS join forces against fuel theft19 June 2014

Fuel security specialist TISS and trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull have announced a Europe-wide partnership deal which will see TankSafe fuel security devices available on Schmitz trailers, either as a retrofit or factory fit option.

Fuel theft from refrigerated trailers is particularly problematic, as the diesel is used to run the cooling unit and maintain integrity of transported goods.

TISS has developed the Schmitz TankSafe Anti-Siphon specifically for the refrigerated trailer range. It includes the patent-pending solid 'Dome' base, to protect against theft, as well as Anti-Siphon to prevent overfilling.

As well as the Schmitz TankSafe Anti-Siphon device, the full TankSafe range is available through Schmitz.
