Semi-trailers set to be major pull at CV Show20 March 2017

Several leading semi-trailer manufacturers will be taking centre stage at the forthcoming Commercial Vehicle Show, on 25-27 April at the NEC, Birmingham.

Trailer manufacturers exhibiting at the event include Cartwright, Chereau, Don-Bur, Ekeri, Gray & Adams, Lawrence David, Montracon, SDC, Tiger and Transdek.

“To the general public, a trailer is just a trailer,” says Rob Skelton, CV Show director. “But to hauliers and fleet managers, there are many innovations in their design that allow operators to reduce their costs and improve their environmental performance, which are increasingly important in the logistics industry.

“The CV Show is the perfect opportunity to see some of this innovation first hand.”

Lawrence David will be launching a new vehicle at the show and Cartwright will be taking its biggest ever stand.

Tiger Trailers will be launching its new 52-pallet moving deck trailer, with a demonstrator built specifically for the event and which is available for UK-wide trials.

Other exhibitors include trailer-related safety and security system suppliers, as well as tail-lifts, loader cranes and forklifts.

The CV Show is promising more than 450 exhibitors and has a 10% bigger footprint than in 2016.
