Silver lining for Cloudbass with ATS MasterCare26 July 2017

Outside broadcast company Cloudbass has signed up for ATS Euromaster’s MasterCare package for its 36-strong fleet of commercial vehicles.

The Derbyshire-based firm’s fleet includes Sprinter vans, rigids and a 44-tonne tractor and trailers, all of which now undergo regular tyre inspections and are subject to a premium Michelin fitment policy.

“Timing is critical for us and the last thing we want is for our tyres to be responsible for stopping any broadcast,” explains Terry Clay, transport manager at Cloudbass.

Now, he adds, one phone call to ATS Euromaster results in swift action by the experts.

As well as improved uptime, the combination of quality tyres and a proactive maintenance policy is delivering financial benefits.

“Previously, our tyre bills would be impossible to track as work was very much being done on an ‘as and when’ basis,” says Clay.

“Now we get a detailed electronic report that documents exactly what tyres will need changing and when that will need to happen, as well as how much it will cost. That’s a massive benefit for us.”
