SOE/IRTE approves Carrier Transicold UK’s training academy 10 November 2016

Transport refrigeration specialist Carrrier Transicold’s training academy programme has been accredited as a CPD (continuing professional development) course by the SOE (Society of Operations Engineers).

Launched in September 2015, the training academy aims to encourage a flow of new talent into the company’s network of independent service partners.

Andy Wainwright, service director at Carrier Transicold UK, says that the SOE accreditation further raises the profile of the training academy programme.

“We are pleased that our dedication to high standards in engineering education is now recognised with industry accreditation,” states Wainwright.

“The training academy programme is going from strength to strength, and we’re pleased to have welcomed an additional eight trainee technicians into the course in October 2016,” he continues.

“Our network service partners are really keen to place their trainee technicians in the course [and] with the SOE’s support, we’re confident this year’s intake and many subsequent generations of candidates will continue to surpass themselves.”
