Specialist transport manager training now available from CILT and IRTE03 September 2014

Two of the transport sector's leading organisations are joining forces to deliver high-quality training for transport managers.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE) say their partnership will raise standards by delivering "first-rate training" for transport managers.

Courses will include CILT's Transport Manager CPC, as well as a CPC refresher course and a one-day certificate of compliance course.

Ian Chisholm, IRTE's head of operations, says the partnership provides "an excellent opportunity to establish a new approach to transport management training, which will benefit the industry in ensuring standards of the highest level are maintained".

Steve Agg, CILT chief executive, adds: "CILT is pleased to partner with IRTE in offering transport manager training, designed for the industry by the industry.

"This is a great opportunity for both engineers and operators to join forces and raise standards for all across their profession."

The official launch will take place at the IRTE conference on 17 September. For details of the training, click the link below.
