The vehicle was designed as a lightweight, versatile school and mobility bus for the Northern Ireland market, but has taken off and is proving popular in the London boroughs.
“Nu-Track spotted a niche in the market and worked with MAN to create the Pulse to fulfil that,” comments Paul Gardner, MAN Truck & Bus UK general manager.
“Its development took nine months from start to finish and the strength of the sales speak for themselves,” he continues,
“When orders are being placed it is tending to be for 10 at a time rather than one or two. We have appointed Graham Wilkinson to promote our combined services and we expect sales to continue growing over the next few months.”
“We are delighted with the response thus far with the Pulse, but our intention is to further develop the product to maximise its potential,” says Alistair Hamill, Nu-Track’s operations director.
From the front, it’s easy to see the MAN TGL heritage in the Pulse, which is supplied to Nu-Track with parts for conversion to a PSV (public service vehicle) and all homologation under MAN Truck & Bus UK.
