Sullivan commissions eight ADL Enviro200s for TfL 14 February 2017

Sullivan Buses has commissioned eight new ADL (Alexander Dennis) Enviro200 midibuses for TfL (Transport for London) route W9.

Built to TfL specification, the 9.7m Enviro200 are powered by Cummins Euro 6 engines driving through Voith transmissions with stop/start technology.

The new buses, which all have two doors and 33 seats, were built to Low Carbon Emission Bus standards, and were designed for low fuel consumption.

“Sullivan Buses are the only independent operator suppling bus services to TfL,” says Dean Sullivan, owner and managing director of the company.

“I am grateful for the assistance we received during the bid process and for ADL’s commitment to deliver the buses on time and within budget,” he continues.

“This gave us considerable confidence, especially given the tight lead times from placing the order to commencing the service.”
