Ten Universities to appear in University Showcase at Cenex-LCV 2014 05 August 2014

Ten UK universities are to appear in the University Showcase section at the Cenex-LCV2014 lo carbon vehicle community exhibition and conference.

They are: Loughborough, Warwick, De Montfort University, Sheffield, Sussex, Cranfield, Oxford Brookes, Imperial College London, Oxford University and the University of Bath.

All will display research and project work aimed at low-carbon vehicles – ranging from a web-based vehicle-to-grid interactive demonstrator to intelligent mobility vehicle applications.

In addition, the EPSRC (the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) will be showcasing research it sponsors in lightweight, composite materials for automotive applications, electric vehicles and power electronics, internal combustion engines, and vehicle energy storage and management systems.

Additionally, the Showcase will include the FUTURE Vehicle project (funded by EPSRC), which aims to gain a better understanding of the science behind vehicles of the future – demonstrating collaborative work between Loughborough University, Imperial College London, University of Sheffield, Cranfield University and Oxford University.
