Tetrosyl extends logistics contract by five years12 November 2010

Following improvements to its operations and a reduction in running costs, Tetrosyl has signed a five-year extension to its contract with Bibby Distribution.

The logistics company runs a fleet of more than 60 vehicles and trailers on behalf of Tetrosyl, including 18-tonne rigids, 44-tonne tractor units and both single and double-deck curtainside trailers.

On-time deliveries is just one of the key performance indicators against which Bibby Distribution is measured and the company says it is now consistently achieving 98.5% or better.

Barry Rennie, site manager at Tetrosyl, says: "We have seen cost savings year-on-year, across the board, and this can only come from a mutual understanding of the business. Importantly, as the market changes, Bibby is able to move with us, while maintaining exceptional price and service levels."
