The Passenger DCPC countdown has begun 16 August 2013

There are now less than four weeks to go until the deadline for completion of Driver CPC training for PCVs (passenger carrying vehicles). All drivers must have completed the required training by the deadline of 10 September.

The FTA (Freight Transport Association) is advising all PCV operators to ensure that their professional drivers complete the mandatory 35 hours of approved Driver CPC training by the deadline.

FTA warned in March that there will be no last minute reprieve. VOSA and the Traffic Commissioners will take action against vocational drivers and any operators who allow them to drive illegally.

There are many DCPC training options available to operators, with FTA being recognised within the industry as a leading provider.

FTA offers a full list of passenger Driver CPC training courses, and still has some availability for those who need to complete a lot of training in a short amount of time.
