The Race Group signs new deal with Castrol20 September 2018
The Race Group has signed a five-year deal with Castrol to supply lubricants to automotive and commercial vehicle customers across the south of England.
Already supplying the Midlands and the North, the latest signing makes The Race Group – part of Certas Energy – the largest authorised distributor for Castrol in the UK.
Michelle Rice, marketing manager at The Race Group, says: “Castrol is the most trusted and recognised brand by mechanics and technicians in the UK, and we’re excited about further strengthening our partnership to provide a comprehensive offering for independent and commercial vehicle workshop customers in the south of England.”
Growth plans include a new depot in Kingswinford, due to open later this year, designed to store oils and lubricants and strategically located to service customers.
The 44km2 depot will expand the capacity of its current warehouse in Brierley Hill and will also create new jobs for the area.
