Tiger earns its stripes with another order for Deeset Logistics02 October 2015

Deeset Logistics has ordered 11 tri-axle van trailers from Tiger Trailers, following delivery earlier this year of five step frame van trailers from the manufacturer.

Tiger was launched last year by former Cartwright managing directors John and Steven Cartwright, and the earlier Deeside Logistics order was one of its first, placed before a single trailer had been made.

Scott Doorbar, Deeset’s distribution director, says: “We placed the order with Tiger as we had worked closely with the members of the Tiger team on previous projects and they had always delivered.”

The hydraulic moving deck step frame vans, with aerodynamic front roof profiles, went straight into operation with Deeset, servicing contracts for big name retailers.

The latest order for tri-axle vans with aerodynamic Tiger Tails is now rolling off the production line at Tiger’s Winsford factory.

The trailers feature fully galvanised chassis and body, with pre-impregnated side panels and rear shutter. A new aerodynamic front has been designed, with high impact nylon corner cappings.
