TISS's TankSafe Impregnable fuel siphoning deterrent has won a Queen's Award for Enterprise for Innovation. The device also helps to prevent fuel spills.

The award is the company's second, following a 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. On that front, the company recently set up a joint venture in India, TISS-KGK Security Systems Pvt. Ltd. Over the past year, more than 180,000 Tata vehicles in India have been fitted with the TankSafe under a factory-fit production agreement with the Indian OEM.

Of the latest honour, company owner Ryan Wholey said: “Our innovations has helped thousands of businesses across the globe protect their bottom line, and His Royal Highness [Prince Charles] was very interested to hear about its impact on the environment.”
