TomTom to showcase new driver terminal at CV Show23 April 2014

Visitors to this year's CV Show (29 April to 1 May, NEC, Birmingham) will have their first chance to see TomTom Telematics' new seven-inch driver terminal, the latest edition to its Webfleet fleet management platform.

The new terminal, called Pro 8275, can host bespoke applications for van and truck drivers, such as digital signature capture for proof of delivery, vehicle checks and barcode scanning.

This latest development extends Webfleet to three APIs (application program interfaces) – in the office, in the field and on the driver terminal – connecting vehicles and mobile workers with the back office.

TomTom will also be demonstrating other applications, such as truck navigation, tachograph management, predefined route and itinerary order creation.
