Transport minister tops the bill at CV Forum18 October 2013

Transport minister Robin Goodwill will deliver the keynote presentation at the Commercial Vehicle Forum 2013, taking place on 22 October in London.

This will be the incoming minister's first speech to the UK road transport industry.

At next week's event, being held at the British Museum, the minister will meet key industry figures to hear, first hand, the issues and concerns that surround the sector.
.
The CV Forum 2013 will comprise a 'Question Time'-style discussion, with the debate focusing on two areas: world-class business efficiency in the road transport industry; and how UK operators can set the benchmark for the European road transport sector.

Panellists include: Beverley Bell, senior traffic commissioner; Henry Foy, the FT's automotive correspondent; Giles Margerison of TomTom Business Solutions; Laura Moran, commercial vehicle director for Hertz UK; and David Weller, former head of UK logistics for Mothercare and transport manager for WH Smith.

Each panel discussion will be followed by a question and answer session. To submit a question in advance of the event, e-mail cvforum@relishevents.co.uk with the subject 'panel question'.
