TRW's online marketing manager Alexander Knorn explains that the app has been developed for both iOS and Android, and can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play Store.
The app facilitates access to TRW's web-based catalogue on the move, using either the OE or TRW part number as an entry reference point, he says.
With its integrated anti-counterfeiting functionality TecIdentify, it also allows users to scan TRW's product boxes (using the unique 2D matrix code labels) and verify authenticity.

And he adds that the new app complements TRW's existing digital portfolio, which includes an integrated catalogue and free online technical resource, launched on: www.trwaftermarket.com in 2014.
