Vacu-Lug distinction in C&G retread workshop practice 02 August 2016
Vacu-Lug employee Jason Humphries has achieved a ‘distinction’ in the City & Guilds Part 1 Retread Workshop Practice examination, scoring the highest mark nationwide.
The firm’s Dave Alsop and Elaine Dable achieved ‘credit’ passes in the same exams, proving their knowledge of retreading practices.
“This qualification shows the calibre of our candidates and the passion they have for the retreading sector,” states Vacu-Lug managing director Tim Hercock.
“The investment and hard work put into their studies showed not only a determination to succeed, but also to discover as much as possible about what retreading involves and why it is a crucial part of the tyre industry,” he adds.
