Vans kitted out to demonstrate real-life benefits27 January 2014

Intercounty Truck & Van has teamed up racking manufacturer Bott and telematics firm Masternaut to kit out three Mercedes-Benz vans for demonstration purposes.

Intercounty is targeting businesses such as plumbers and telecommunications firms, which use such vans as mobile workshops.

The firm says it can now offer them a fully-equipped demonstrator from each of the Citan, Vito and Sprinter van ranges.

The Citan is a 109 CDI long model, fitted with Bott's Modulo racking, which can be configured and ordered online, and fitted on site in an hour.

The Vito 113 CDI long contains Uno racking, while a Sprinter 313 CDI Long is equipped with lightweight, reinforced racking from the Vario range.

All three also have the Masternaut telematics system, including eco-drive software, aimed at improving fuel economy and fleet administration.
