Verizon Connect reveals integrated field service management28 February 2020

Verizon Connect has introduced new field service management technology to enable operators to manage technicians and vehicles, all from one screen.

Called Reveal Field, it combines technician status with vehicle location data from the Verizon Connect Reveal platform.

Key features, says the company, include easy scheduling and dispatching, real-time notifications, a mobile app for technicians and integration with Live Map, enabling dispatchers to see the technician’s real-time vehicle location.

“Operations and fleet managers want a centralised hub where they have complete visibility into vehicles, workers and the work they are doing,” said Erin Cave, VP of product management at Verizon Connect.

“Reveal Field provides a simplified approach to managing drivers, technicians and jobs, and enables customers to streamline business processes, efficiently schedule jobs and improve customer service – all from one pane of glass.”
