Wheadons company manager Nick Wheadon points to quality and safety standards, as well as value for money and a high standard of aftersales care from Volvo as key deciding factors.
"We needed a new 53-seater for our fleet to work on a tour programme we have introduced, which will operate all year round," states Wheadon.
"We own an older 2008 Volvo B12B Euro 5 and it is still a very impressive vehicle, so we had no hesitation in turning to Volvo when we needed to expand our fleet."
Wheadon says working with Volvo's retail bus and coach sales manager Jo Standbridge was "a pleasure" and "we have already been in touch with Jo regarding another purchase for delivery later this year".
The firm's new Volvo B11R Euro 6 vehicles are built on a 12.6 metre, two-axle chassis. They have Jonckheere bodywork and 53 seats.
