ZF Services to offer steering pumps to the aftermarket10 June 2011
ZF Services UK has announced the addition of commercial vehicle steering pumps to its aftermarket products portfolio, under the ZF Parts brand. The range comprises 114 part numbers for DAF, ERF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes, Renault Trucks, Scania and Volvo applications, the most popular of which are available ex-stock to parts factors and distributors.
ZF Parts commercial vehicle steering pumps are original equipment (OE) units remanufactured by ZF factory-trained engineers to meet current OE specifications. As such, they satisfy the same quality, safety and reliability criteria as the OE units fitted on vehicle production lines and carry a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
During the remanufacturing process at ZF Services UK, each pump is stripped to its individual components, which are then examined for wear or damage. Any parts approaching or outside OE design limits are replaced with new OE specification items, and all seals and gaskets are replaced. The unit is then reassembled, tested using factory protocols and warranted before release to the market.
