Dennis Eagle confirms support for waste collection operators

Refuse collection vehicle manufacturer Dennis Eagle has underlined its commitment to help waste collection operators across the UK during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The company’s staff are designated key workers, it says, and its spare parts service, field service engineers and workshops are all open, with the appropriate safety and distancing measures.

Geoff Rigg, Dennis Eagle’s aftermarket director, says: “We currently have good stocks of spare parts in both our central stores in Chorley and throughout our nationwide network of service centres.

“The TNT network we use for deliveries is protected and our logistics partners are also considered key workers by the government.”

Rigg adds that a range of approved-used RCVs are available to operators within 24 hours, if needed.
