The site has been developed by Petro-Canada Lubricants and went live last week (1 December 2016) ahead of the new standards’ formal introduction.
DURONthetougherthebetter.com provides full information as well as background, videos, technical overviews and answers to frequently asked questions – including how the new oils compare to the previous API CJ-4 oils.
“We believe that API CK-4 and FA-4 will deliver major efficiency and operational benefits for businesses operating heavy duty vehicles,” says Howard McIntyre, vice president for lubricants at parent company Suncor.
“End users will need to consider which oil category is most suitable for their vehicles depending on age, application, and operating conditions,” he continues.
