New CILT CEO to speak at Microlise Transport Conference 25 January 2016

CILT’s (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) new chief executive Kevin Richardson has confirmed his speaker status at this year’s Microlise Transport Conference – 18 May, Ricoh Arena.

Richardson joined CILT in December 2015 and this will be one of the first opportunities to hear him speak publicly about his vision for CILT and key issues facing the logistics and transport industry.

Chaired by motoring commentator Quentin Willson, the one-day conference is set to feature speakers from across the industry – including transport operators and industry bodies – as well as workshops and a 3,500m2 industry exhibition area.

“This platform ... enables me to reach the entire road transport industry, while they are in one place,” states Richardson.

“Road transport is essential to so many day-to-day activities and is integral to the future prosperity of the UK. I am looking forward to speaking at the conference.”
