Bristol-based logistics firm Saville's Freights has taken delivery of six new Euro 6 Renault Range T460 6x2 mid-lift tractor units.
According to Saville's Freights' director Darren Saville, The Range Ts are replacements for MAN, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz and earlier Renault Trucks vehicles on the company's 29-strong fleet.
"Our business has a long standing relationship with Renault Trucks South West and this was an important factor in our decision to bring the new vehicles on board," states Saville.
"It's been a few years since we've had new Renaults, but I was particularly impressed when we test drove the vehicle," he continues – adding that the vehicle's performance, especially during test drives, was impressive.
Saville believes his Renaults provide value for money and says they will deliver good fuel efficiency over time.
"It's still early days for the vehicles, but so far they have been really good," he says.
"Overall, our drivers are really happy with the Range T's cab improvements and have also commented that they can see a marked improvement in the engine's performance... They are particularly complimentary about the way the engine pulls."
