The contract was awarded after a competitive tender, in which the “unquestionable service levels” of Autoglass were highlighted as a key factor.
The deal runs until 2020 and covers windscreen repair, fleet checks and ADAS calibrations.
Eleanor Biddiscombe, Wincanton’s procurement director, says: “We have a large mixed fleet spread across the UK and required a supplier who could offer us unquestionable service levels across the length and breadth of the UK, while providing excellent insight into the management of our fleet windscreen repairs through their reporting capability.
“This level of support allows us to focus on improving our operations and offers our customers increased service levels. This, along with being a technological market leader and offering expertise throughout their whole team, was a key factor in our decision to award Autoglass the contract.”
