Allied Bakeries to use double deck trailers27 October 2023

Allied Bakeries is to replace two single deck trailers with high-volume box double deck trailers as part of a collaboration with Don-Bur.

With an overall height of 5 meters and a fifth wheel height of only 1.09 meters, these trailers boast internal heights exceeding 1.8 meters on both decks, allowing Allied Bakeries to optimise its transportation capabilities. The load footprint is said to be equivalent to 52 UK pallets.

These trailers feature ribbed aluminium Bakadek planks on both decks, ensuring ease of maintenance and cleaning. The stainless steel rearframe and special chassis galvanisation also contribute to the longevity of the trailers and minimise their environmental impact.
