Allstone delivers high-level service with Hyva15 September 2015

Aggregates and waste management business Allstone says its policy of specifying Hyva for tipping cylinders, skiploaders and hookloaders, results in “best in class” performance.

“I buy on performance, not price, and by any yardstick the performance of Hyva equipment beats the competition hands down,” says Simon Ford, Allstone’s owner and managing director.

“The fact that Hyva is clearly best in class across all their three product sectors is a real bonus, as we then have to deal with just one key supplier.”

The Gloucester-based operator as a growing fleet of 40 trucks and, this year, has taken delivery of a 12-tonne and 18-tonne gvw Hyva skiploaders, the latest 32-tonne Hyva Titan hookloaders, and 18-tonne and 32-tonne tippers fitted with Hyva cylinders, specified with Wilcox alloy and Thompsons steel bodies.

Top level service calls for vehicle reliability, says Ford, with no unscheduled downtime.

“Whatever the product, Hyva equipment is always robust, reliable, and safe and easy to operate,” he adds.

“We can also get parts from Hyva on an overnight basis, with on-site support as and when we need it. As such, our buying decision in favour of Hyva is almost automatic.”
