Beelsby Contractors Fruehauf tippers The new tippers are fitted with Bridgestone M tyres

Lincolnshire haulage firm Beelsby Contractors is using two Fruehauf tippers to improve the efficiency of its operations at Immingham Docks.

The two Stepframe Smoothsider tippers and Scania R450 tractors are part of the company’s fleet of 20 vehicles that transport seed, gypsum and grain to and from the docks. The haulage fleet also operates across the UK.

Beelsby Contractors partner Joe Fenwick said: “The new tippers are doing a lot of work at the docks, the fleet operating between 30 to 40 loads per day with many being short runs.”

The new tippers will each cover more than 100,000km per annum, delivering and collecting from agricultural customers and carrying loads to and from the docks.

They are fitted with Bridgestone M tyres. The specification includes a performance chassis, automatic Red 3001 Shurco sheeting system, an air-operated tail-gate and a Barry Napper weigher with in-cab display.
