Brit European extends contract with Prometeon04 January 2024

Cheshire-based Brit European has extended an agreement with Prometeon, covering a fleet of 162 tractor units and rigids, 201 trailers and a mix of cars and vans.

The renewal is a 12-month rolling pay as you go contract and includes Prometeon’s central billing and tyre management tool Pro Management.

The Brit European heavy haulage fleet transports plant and construction machinery for JCB and Mercedes Trucks and Vans over the length of the UK motorway network, with specialist port staff at Immingham, Lincolnshire, and Purfleet, Essex.

The contract was signed at Brit European’s ‘Net Zero’ head office. The Vita Nova Centre, off junction 18 of the M6, at Middlewich, runs off-grid using 80 solar panels generating 35KWatt of electricity alongside the latest wind towers.
